Speaker 1:

So welcome to this week's episode of Conversations with an Investor. Now, in a little twist, I'm going to discuss going down a little rabbit hole. It's going to involve a fight, some arguable and questionable characters that argue about what science is, and we're not going to draw any conclusions as such, but more just let's have a bit of a thought about this. Where does this all come from? Well, there was a guy in Japan, dr Masuru Omoto, who conducted some experiments and he wrote a book called the Secret Messages in Water. What he was proposing was that when water was exposed to an energy or a vibration, particularly sound, it would create different crystals. So there's different pictures of what Omoto had created. And what Dr Omoto did was he took different types of music and played these to water and then froze them to see what crystal shapes they would form. So you can find these online. I'll leave the links in the show notes so for the listeners out there, we'll just do a description of what there is.

Speaker 1:

So there's some pictures here from the life work of Dr Omoto, and these pictures are crystals that have been photographed. And what he would do would be put the water into different water collected from different places and he would freeze them to see what crystal shapes they would form. He also went on to then photograph water that he had instilled some energy via emotion, so he would be angry or he would say something nice or sad, so he would photograph what these crystals looked like. So the list here on the Wellness Enterprise, loving gratitude, which was a beautiful symmetrical crystal you discussed me as a disc in bobulated, contorted, just uneven crystal shape, eternal, which creates this beautiful crystal structure, which is six sided, has a nice glow in the center. It looks really, really nice piece. It looks four sided and it's got again some symmetry and nice form to it. Evil looks like a dark hole with rough edges round outside and, thank you, created another beautiful and similar crystal.

Speaker 1:

He then went on to show polluted water. So he would take polluted water and take a picture of what that looked like when it was crystallized. And he took the same water after a Buddhist prayer and froze it to see what difference that would make to the crystal. And what he was essentially saying was that we can influence, or water can store, that vibration that it's been exposed to, and when you freeze it, that then gives you a visual picture of what's being stored, now set off a fight because there was a guy this guy here, dr Kenneth Liberich, who's a professor of physics in Caltech. Now this guy is an expert in crystal growth of snowflakes. So obviously in today's age snowflake has many connotations and if this guy is an expert in snowflakes then we should set the tone. But we must be clear that this dude was an expert in the formations of what snowflake shapes were like and he was using the basis of known physics to explain what was going on.

Speaker 1:

So naturally this guy was getting a lot of inquiries from people who'd said hey, have you heard of Dr Amato's work? He's clearly getting bombarded. And he came out and basically said look, there's no scientific merit to Dr Amato's work, there's no scientific method to it and there's just no basis that emotion or consciousness can interact with water. It's farcical. And he was saying that it didn't have the scientific rigor, didn't have the control protocols, didn't have the measurements of being able to do it. But when Dr Kenneth Liberich was asked have you replicated them? And he says no. So he was making all of these on assumptions. It was all guesswork. So it was strange that he was pointing the finger at someone who'd carried out experiments and then didn't try and replicate the experiments to see if he got a similar or dissimilar result. All he did was criticize the guy's Dr Amato's work. So this ended up in a bit of a fight between the two not between the two as such, but opposing views. And one of the things that I thought I've heard this before. So you've got a scientist who then sets the standard people that believe that guys in white coats should be listened to and their word is God. Essentially, there's no higher authority than these guys that have this kind of differing opinion. And it made me think. I thought where have I heard that before? For regular fans of the channel, you know that we've mentioned David Goggins a few times, so I remember Goggins saying something similar to a similar expert. So this is what he said. This was Goggins.

Speaker 1:

Years ago I was invited to a panel at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I'd never set foot in a university lecture hall as a student. I'd barely graduated high school, yet I was at one of the most prestigious institutions in the country to discuss mental toughness with a handful of others. At some point in the discussion, an esteemed MIT professor said that we each have genetic limitations, hard ceilings that are the same. We just can't get over them, no matter how mentally tough we are, and that we hit our genetic ceiling, he said Mental toughness doesn't enter the equation. For everyone in that room seemed to accept his version of reality because he was the senior, a tenured professor who was known for researching mental toughness. It was his life's work and it was also a bunch of bullshit, and to me he was using the science to let us all off of the hook.

Speaker 1:

I'd been quiet until then because I was surrounded by all these smart people feeling stupid, but sometimes the audience noticed. I had a look in my face and asked if I agreed. And if you ask me a direct question, I won't be shy. There is something to be said for living it instead of studying it, I said. Then I turned towards the professor. What you said is true for most people, but not 100%. There will always be the 1% who are willing to put in the work to defy the odds. I went on to explain what I knew from experience that anybody can become a totally different person and achieve what the so-called experts like him claim is impossible, but it takes a lot of heart, will and an armoured mind. So there's Goggins, he's went into this esteemed establishment, one of the greatest institutions in Western civilization. This expert is saying yes, I'm basically calling that. There's limitations, much like our guy here, dr Kenneth Liberich.

Speaker 1:

Now, one of the things that we're doing over at the mindset of the community is that we're talking about how what you say impacts you. So if we take, for instance, what Dr Emoto had said, he says look, you have the ability to interact with energy fields and that's used through your energy. And if that water can be influenced by the energy field that you give out love, hate, positivity, negativity, peace, joy, evil and so on then it will affect what's stored within those molecules, as he explained when he froze the molecules. So it's interesting that we say that, because one of the things that we see a lot of the time is that like as positive mental attitude, really a good thing. And if it's as simple as that, then why do people not do it?

Speaker 1:

And it's one of these things that you can get caught up in the trap. You can get caught in that loop of your own mind and your own thoughts where sometimes you can say I'm not worth it, I'm stupid, people like me don't get this. I can't do it. Why bother? Why try? This is for other people, and so on. So imagine if Dr Emoto's work has any bearing of truth, which, as you can see in the pictures, surely can't disregard what the guy has done. It's certainly worth considering that what we say to ourselves is quite important and if anyone has done any work where they have changed their thought patterns which, believe it or not, isn't as difficult as you think it's difficult to stick to, it's not difficult to learn how to do it. If you stick to it, you will have noticed. If you do it, there's a change in your results, just like Dr Emoto had done with the water.

Speaker 1:

When you start to put positive energy, it can influence the shape of those crystals. It then led me to think about, well, what is sound? Sound is a vibration, so it's created by vibrating the molecules of air that give off a sound. And it made me think of famous scientist Nikola Tesla. Nikola Tesla has this famous quote where he says if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy frequency and vibration. You think to yourself well, here's another esteemed scientist who, by all, one of the probably the greatest minds in modern history has put this out there to say, hey, look, think of things in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. Well, if we look at positive and negative, that's an energy. If we look at what we say to ourselves, that's a vibration. And we look at the frequency in terms of how often we might do that to ourselves and what we're saying.

Speaker 1:

So if you've, I'm sure, if you think of anyone that you've spoken to and maybe stuck in their own ways, just listen to the language that they come out with, you know there's a reason that people that always go on about being sick are always sick. There's always a reason that people that talk about being in debt never get out of debt. There's always people that are stuck in the rut because it's what they create, what they think about, and it's this constant thought pattern that they have and you get more of what you focus on. So if you're focusing on these things, you're going to get more of them, because you got to remember if a motel's work represents how we store things and if we are between 70% and 80% water, well, imagine this body that we're in. It's just a huge storage device for the things that we get. So it's not only the things that we say to ourselves internally and also it's also the areas we engage with.

Speaker 1:

So who are the people that you're around? What are they saying? Are they good or bad for you? Do they have a good influence or a negative influence? Is people doing good for you? Are you around the right people? Are you around the right energy and you go?

Speaker 1:

Well, at some point even the most skeptical people will go and think, oh, this is all woo-woo, airy-fairy stuff. But what happens when science actually meets the spiritual? Because there is a crossover point where you say that this energy frequency and vibration sounds more spiritual than it does science-based. But there's been many cases where you can find the spiritual overlap between the scientific tests and you look at there's a famous Gaya series and I would urge you to take a look at it where it's called Mind Over Water and it's the wisdom teachings and the commentator on here is a guy called David Wilcock. And if you go and listen to David Wilcock, the first thing you'll notice is that if you shut your eyes, you're going to hear a lightning in the queen. If he's a relative to Owen Wilson or some sort of family member, but this guy's got an uncanny resemblance to the guy who'd done the voiceover for Lightning McQueen. That said, there's a great series where he goes into some of the overlaps between what is considered spiritual in woo-woo and what's scientific in where they meet.

Speaker 1:

Dr Joe Dispenza has done some great work in being able to test that energy field in terms of your vibration and your frequency, and we've seen it as like imagine, if you go in and you start listening to positive mindset audio or videos and you start to surround yourself, you start to read more, you start to engage more with things that are more of a positive nature, you definitely start to see a change in yourself and it's something that when you think about your life and you want to get better results and you want to improve or you want to feel more fulfilled, then can you actually impact your life with these results. This led me on to another thing that I've stumbled across, which is called simatics. Now, simatics the definition of simatics comes from the ancient Greek, which is a model vibrational phenomena. The term was coined by a Swiss physician, hans James, and it says it's typically on the surface of a plate, a diaphragm or a membrane that is vibrated and the regions of the maximum and minimum, are made visible through a thin coating of particles, a paste or a liquid, so different patterns emerge on the medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency. So what it means is that when you put a particle sand, rice or something similar onto a plate and you vibrate that plate with sound, it creates a geometric pattern.

Speaker 1:

One of the most fascinating videos that you'll see again, this is to give you a visual idea of how powerful vibration really is. If you imagine the relationship between water, in terms of it can store vibration, and it's forming crystals, in terms of what vibration you applied to it, you just think of what that's like for yourself. You think of what it's like internally. You think about what it's like from within. I found a great video on YouTube and it's called Symatics Science Versus Music by Nigel Stanford, and I'll put the link for this video into the show notes. It's five minutes long and it'll blow your mind, and it's in the prefaces video with. All the experiments in this video are real, so I'll play this up on screen just now. Take a look, but we'll show you the show. Go and take a look at this video on YouTube.

Speaker 1:

I'm sure Nigel doesn't require a shout out from me, given that his videos had 47 million views, but for the listeners out there, he's putting sand onto a plate and he's using a keyboard to hit a note to create a different frequency or a different vibration on that plate and it's the particles on the top of that plate are changing into geometric shapes, so not random shapes. He hits the note, it changes and then he hits another note and it changes into another geometric shape and what you'll see in this video is the power of vibration. We know this. If you've ever been in the car or heard a great song or something resonates with you, you can feel really, really good when you hear that music and you imagine that this is what the interaction of this is the shapes, this is the sacred geometry that's out there and you look at what it can do.

Speaker 1:

Some of the other examples it has in the video is what this does to liquid, which is heading back to what Dr Motow was suggesting, and it shows this fluid that he's put in a tray and then sat it on a speaker and the speaker is playing different musical notes and you can watch what it's done to the water, even the test where he has a garland hose and that hose is letting water come out and when the drumbeat hits, it's actually changing the shape of the water and you can see it shifting in the video so that you can see the power of the vibration and what it can do. And this is when we come back to what is this power? I mean, if this is what it's doing to water and what it's doing to particles and it's showing these coherent, very structured, very detailed geometric shapes, then if we look at what Motow had done, when he's doing this with water and then freezing them and it's making all these shapes, is it worth considering that there might be something to this? And I would say that there is, and certainly from my own experience of seeing people that are looking to get the most out of themselves, it's a key thing to think about what power those vibrations have, that energy that we have. If we are applying thoughts, we're applying energy, we're applying that to ourselves and we're working out things like are we worth this? Am I good enough, should I pursue this? And you just look at how many different sort of pieces of information that are out there that show the power that we don't necessarily realise is out there in terms of the power of sound, and if the power of sound, which is really vibration, and that vibration is something that we can generate, then surely we want to generate the best possible, do we not? Well, it's strange to think that a lot of people, if you look at, if we done an audit on how we speak to ourselves, in terms of how we engage with ourselves internally, mentally, are we giving ourselves the best thoughts? Is that something that we're doing? And one of the strange things that you'll find when you look at this is that sometimes it can be difficult to audit yourself.

Speaker 1:

One of the tricky things is people having to go through their history to see what it's like, to see if they're actually doing something, because you can be biased, you can have your own point of view, you can have a certain way that you look at it and it can be skewed in some way. But one of the things that's really good if you're doing it to someone else is that you don't have any bias, you don't have any preconditions and you might not have any desire, regardless of what the outcome of that is. So it's much easier to review someone else than it is yourself, because you do have that cognitive bias and when you review someone else, and for the many, many people that I've reviewed over the years, there's a common denominator with the people that are really, really successful. If you look back at the episode that we've done on the after-school video by Napoleon Hill, it was the 20 habits of positive people, and Napoleon Hill was famous for interviewing the top 500 business people in the world and he created a book that explained here look, this is what these guys do, this is how they get the most out of themselves, and it was all around the way that they speak to themselves internally, the way they speak to others, the way that they carry themselves and conduct themselves.

Speaker 1:

But that's all from within, in terms of how they approach things mentally, how they set that up in their mind, which is usually beforehand. They'll have hey look, we're going to do this and this is the result that we're looking to get to, and we want to get to it because it'll be great when we get here, and I know there's going to be obstacles, but we will overcome them as we go, and it's that sort of preparation for success that comes from how you set that up in your mind, which is energy. And then you imagine how that resonates when they're speaking to people, because people can detect that people can pick up on that frequency, they can pick up on that vibration. That's what happens. When you speak to someone and you get on with them like a house and fire, what do you say? You say they're just on my wavelength because you're resonating and that resonance is measured in vibration and you're picking that up. So if you can be on someone else's wavelength, then that means that you're finding some common ground.

Speaker 1:

Well, imagine that you could get that balance within yourself. So you have a goal or an outcome or an improvement that you want to make in your life and then you match the internal dialogue to vibrate at that frequency where you say you know you're going to have a positive attitude, you're going to have a great outlook, you're going to have a structure and a format that you want to achieve or to build or to institute within yourself so that you can take yourself towards that result. And is it really that simple? Well, it is. It really is that simple in terms of it's not complicated, but the hard part the hard part for everyone is consistency. So consistency is the thing that always makes people go back to their default mode. They don't stick to it enough.

Speaker 1:

And one of the things that you'll find is that if you go through and you have a truthful and accurate audit of your past performances, you'll notice that the big consistency word was the one that usually caught you out. Now there's some you know, obviously exceptions to that. You know if you catch an injury or something out with your control happened, but for the most part, nine times out of 10, it's usually around you weren't consistent, you didn't stick to the plan, you weren't disciplined enough, you didn't hold yourself to account, you didn't push hard, you took the easy road. You missed a training day here or there. Whatever it is that you're doing, you just didn't apply your all to it. And it's one of these things where it's very, very, very, very simple to do if you track this. So I would absolutely urge anyone out there to track what they're doing.

Speaker 1:

But most of all, if we can take one thing away from this today, is that the power of what we say to ourselves is extremely important. If you look at cinematics and the power that that has in terms of influencing matter material, real things from a sound, then remember that you're made up of matter and you are made up of water. And if you look at Dr Emoto's work and you think, hey look, maybe it's worth considering that there is power in what I say and there's power how I construct the dialogue within and maybe I should focus on that. And if you want to get supercharged results, then that's what they do. And if you're looking for a template and a formula on how to do it, come and join me over at the Mindset Coaching Community.
